Well, here I am at 16 weeks!
I suddenly popped in the last few weeks and am actually starting to feel pregnant. It helps that I finally got some maternity clothes that show off the bump rather than hide it. Only problem now is that maternity jeans are too big but my normal jeans are too small. What a fun time, right?
But the exciting news is that we get to find out the gender of our baby one week from today! I am so excited, I can hardly stand it! As soon as we find out what this little whale baby is I can finally start getting some clothes, decorating the nursery, making baby blankets and all that other fun jazz you do while you are growing a baby.
Stay tuned for next week's gender and name announcement!!!
Any guesses on the gender/name suggestions?

Little Whale Baby
Surprise!!
We are bringing another awesome person in this world! Since we don't know the gender yet, and we feel bad calling our child "it," we have been affectionately calling him/her "Little Whale Baby." A few weeks before I got pregnant, Nate and I were watching a movie and just as a quiet moment occurred, my stomach made a lovely grumbling, whale-like noise. Of course Nate rubbed my tummy and lovingly said, "Aaaaww... it's a little whale baby!" and from then on, any tummy noise was then referred to as whale baby. (Nate was such a good pre-daddy that he had his own "Whale Baby" days as well.) So when we found out there was a real baby in there we decided Little Whale Baby was a perfect name to call our little pea in the pod. (for now!)
***Baby bump pictures coming soon!***
